support

Email support@sinaiaudio.com. Tell us your Orthrus version, your DAW and Windows version, and what happened. You'll get an answer from us, usually within two working days.

Installing

Orthrus is a VST3 plugin for 64-bit Windows. Run the installer, then rescan plugins in your DAW if Orthrus doesn't appear.

"Windows protected your PC". The installer isn't code-signed yet. Because of that, Windows SmartScreen may stop it the first time. Click More info, then Run anyway. Only do this for an installer you downloaded from sinaiaudio.com or from the link in your purchase email. The plugin itself isn't affected: DAWs load it as normal.

To check your download is the genuine file, compare its SHA-256 with the one below. In PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\Orthrus-1.0.0-Windows.exe

SHA-256: installer hash goes here at release

Trial and demo

Orthrus has a free 7-day trial that works as the full version. Start it from File → Register… (it may ask you to make a free account). After the trial Orthrus keeps working as a demo: a bell rings from time to time, and presets can't be saved. Your DAW projects always save as normal.

Licences

• One licence can be registered on up to three computers you use.
• To move Orthrus to a new computer, deactivate it on the old one from the Register screen, or ask us and we'll free the slot.
• No internet on your studio computer? Use offline registration on the Register screen. Note that a licence registered offline can't be refunded (see below).
• A licence can be transferred to someone else once. Email us to arrange it.

Refunds

If you're not happy with Orthrus, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying it, as long as the licence has never been registered offline. Email us and we'll arrange it with the seller and deactivate the licence. An offline registration can't be cancelled remotely, so registering offline means the licence can no longer be refunded; the Register screen says so before you do it. Please try the free trial before buying. None of this affects your legal rights, for example if Orthrus is faulty.
